For more than 20 years we have been running premium touring rallies for interesting people who enjoy vintage and classic cars.
Typically seven days, 1500 to 2000 km.
There are no competitive or timed sections.
Each event includes activities such as cruises and wineries.
Application fees cover one car with two people on a twin share basis.
October - The Single Malt - A new event that takes in fantastic touring roads and visits lots of Tasmania's fantastic whisky distilleries.
November - The Original Classic - This is our cornerstone premium tour, first run in 1995. It is for a very small group only.
Vintage and classic cars and, at the organiser's discretion, other sporting cars.
Bring your own car or hire one locally. Vehicle acceptance shall be upon application and selection is at the sole discretion of the event organisers.
Hire a classic
We can arrange for you to hire a sporting machine.
Please contact us and we will put you in touch. All hire arrangements are made directly with the hire company owner. This is a great option for international participants.
We know Tasmania backwards - the best rally roads, the best side country lanes, the best out of the way highways. The course is tarmac but please allow for some gravel on access roads and drives and unexpected roadworks.
200 to 300km per day average.
No special licence or insurance requirements.
Interesting but not difficult; we use international tulip tally notes to get you around.
We discourage the use of GPS systems. Traditional penalty if caught - You buy a round of drinks!
The application fee covers one car with two people. We list the inclusions.
Early bird and discount club and group fees often apply.
